Time flies when you are having fun. It had already been seven months since the trucks left and we were fully operational at the new address in Hyllie. It was time to throw a housewarming.
Here is a look back at an evening of laughter, close-up magic, Italian food and a lot of mingling, for those who were there and for everyone following along.
Rooftop first
At 16:00 we opened the doors. Everything was set on the building's rooftop terrace. Drinks, small plates, and Malmö's pizza chefs from L'Aquafarina on the communal oven. Close-up magician David Persson worked the tables. Inside, a presentation wall covered the people who make Cosmodent run.
DJ rbnjo had the terrace dance floor. Around 19:00 a Skåne rain shower tested the party. When the sun came back, everyone gathered for the blast that declared Cosmodent 3.0 open.
Unexpected guests
Mid-party the emergency services arrived. Either the terrace was too lively, or the celebratory blast was a little too convincing. There was no fire. The firefighters confirmed the building was fine. The alarm still shut the elevators down.
Guests who needed to leave walked. Eleven floors. The mood held.
A last downpour arrived late. The timing was almost polite: the goodie bags that night happened to include umbrellas.

To customers, partners, friends and family who came: thank you. Tech failures, rain, stairs and flashing lights, and you still made it a night. We were overwhelmed by the gifts.
